Vision Journal Series: Sowing Grounds
& He spake many things unto them in parables, saying, behold, a sower went forth to sow;
& when he sowed, some seeds fell upon the way side, & the fowls came & devoured them up:
Some fell upon stony places, where had not much earth: & forth with they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth:
& when the sun was up, they were scorched, & because they had no root, they withered away.
& some fell among thorns; & the thorns sprung up, & choked them:
But other fell into good ground, & brought forth fruit, some an hundred fold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold.
Who hath ears to hear, let him hear. -Matthew 13:3-9

From the way side even toward good ground, each of us stand in at least one of these four sowing grounds. & Where you stand, will likely determine the fate of the seed we find sown there-in.
Where you would want to be is on a foundation of good groundings, Ensuring that your seed may abound fruitful & abundant. The journey toward these good grounds is a process like any other. But in that process, & through Divine alignment, it is our faithful beleif that a spiritual foundation of health & wellness will have been developed with-in you or through you as a result. ~ Àṣẹ ~
As It Pertains To Vision Journaling:
The Sowing Grounds, as it pertains to Vision Journaling, serves as a spiritual reminder of the obstacles we often wrestle with along in our journey. The seed itself represents each core value you hold to & possess within the pages of your journal. Obstacles are set with the intention of pulling us from our goals, often times unjustly. Staying firmly anchored in a core value system gives us better chance at surpassing these obstacles.
CONSIDER YOUR CORE VALUES:
A mystery of the Sowing Grounds, as it pertains to Vision Journaling, is that the grounds in which the seed is sown often reflects itself in the quality of your journal. Truly consider your core values. The truth of the matter is that you could very well have a seed reserved for you already, but it’s up to you to actually do what it takes to not only obtain your seed, but also maintain it’s growth.
With this in mind, I see the seed the same way I would an inner child.
& said, verily I say unto you, except ye be converted, & become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of Heaven. -Matthew 18:3
